The license must be purchased before the event. No license, No entry.
Supernats Tasmania will sanctioned by IHRA Australia.
The licensing fee will be $50, covering public liability and driver.
All Entrants must adhere to specific IHRA technical regulations.
These rules and regulations have been implemented to make the next Supernats Event as safe and pleasant as possible for all competitors Spectators & officials. At all times while on the premises please abide by the rules and regulations
Clerk of Course & Promoter reserves the right to terminate any participation in the event at any time for whatever reason he or she considers appropriate. Entrants with armbands taken due to misbehavior on or off the track must accept responsibility for their actions, and no swaps or refunds will be issued. Remember that our primary concern is always your safety.
All drivers must have a zero blood-alcohol level. We reserve the right to conduct random breath testing. Supernats Promotions has the authority to remove any alcohol discovered. This is not only Promoter rules but also enforced by the TAS Police Department
To enter the Burnout Pad and Race Circuit for events you must always listen to officials’ directions and respect any orders given.
Warning - We’ll remind you that you’ve broken the rules. Be more careful next time.
Exclusion from the event- Your sticker and wristband will be removed. If the breach is serious enough, you may be asked to leave. We will not tolerate any inappropriate behavior and will not be refunded.
Online Entry Extra Options: Remember to order your Extra Passes, Support Vehicles, and Passenger Rides in advance as we cannot guarantee availability at the registration office. It is the entrant's responsibility to ensure that their passes are given to their crew/buddy & Support Stickers are stuck on the front window

Drivers Briefing
This will only take approximately 20 to 40 minutes max at specific times during the event days. The focus is on what activities are allowed and what is completely prohibited. It will include safety laws and guidelines as well as proper conduct during all track events. There may be multiple briefing times during the day. Any driver joining a driving event must attend a driver's briefing to participate in the driving events.
Parking: There will be allocated areas for free parking or V.I.P parking at an additional cost of $15.00 per car
Disabled Parking: Available there will be signs to direct to the designated areas.
EVENT KEY RULES
ALCOHOL (will not be sold or bought in)
There will be No Sales nor to be brought into the venue. Security will be checking vehicles and roaming the venue all weekend!!! Supernats Promotions reserves the right to seize any alcohol discovered on the grounds. This is a family-friendly event!
ZERO-TOLERANCE: We won't allow any act of disrespect.
NO-MISBEHAVIOR: Anyone who does the wrong thing will be escorted out.
NO-RECKLESS DRIVING ON THE TRACK: Skids in moderation accepted but NO STATIC BURNOUTS, NO FOOT ON THE BRAKE, respect others in the Cruise Sessions.
NO-SPEEDING IN THE PITS OR PADDOCK: Must show consideration for all competitors, including families with children, and refrain from speeding or spinning tyres in the pits or paddock area.
FOLLOW & RESPECT: Management & Staff Rules.
Supernats Tasmania Event is sanctioned by IHRA Australia and must follow all its rules and regulations, as well as meet scrutineering standards. Standard Entrants Package Includes:
Driver- Competitor Car - Tow/Trailer
All Tow & Trailers will not require payment and will be allocated in the designated area inside the venue
Paid Support Cars: Costs $60 online / $80 at the gate (Limited Spots Only), and will be allowed inside the venue in a designated area
Non-Paid: Will need to be parked outside the gates.
V.I.P/WORKSHOP SPONSOR GARAGES
You will be given a Garage Sticker, which will grant you direct access to the V.I.P Lane, saving you from long lines. Sleeping in the garage is permitted, if there is no fuel. You cannot park outside the front door because it is used as an emergency exit and must be kept clear at all times. You must keep the garage clean, free of trash and tyres.
Failure to comply with the No-Smoking and No-Alcohol policy in the Pits at all times may result in dismissal from the event.
Respect the venue's property and do the right thing.

CREDENTIALS & REGISTRATION

All competitors in the driving events must hold a current IHRA Australia License prior to the event. If you have not purchased your license, please purchase from this link https://www.ihra.com.au/ihra-online-licencing.html

Must attend Registration Office to get checked in then head to Scrutineering Bay inside the venue.

Once the car has been passed, you will receive a separate sticker to your entrant sticker and must always have it on.

If your car has been in an accident and has received structural damage, appointed scrutineers may remove your sticker.

Entry to the event is always at the Promoter’s discretion upon advice from the safety checkers. Burnout vehicles may also be re-checked in the queue for the burnout pad.

All drivers must complete all the relevant Event entry and indemnity forms before competing.

Vehicle doesn’t require registration, but will require an IHRA License
Drivers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and sign a Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement of Risk, Waiver, Release, and Indemnity form in front of a registration official. Parents/guardians must provide photo identification.
GENERAL RULES
To ensure safety, drivers must follow all event rules and regulations. If you violate our safety guidelines, your entry will be terminated with no refund and will not be eligible for future Supernats events.
All drivers must have 0% blood alcohol level and will be tested every time they enter Track Activities as well as Random testing throughout the event Failure to comply with the No-Alcohol policy and display any reading may result in dismissal from the event and will have their entry confiscated with No Refunds.

Driving in the pit and paddock areas requires caution; anyone losing traction outside of the track will have their entry confiscated.

No skids or burnouts are permitted to be performed in the pits
Entrants will be accountable for any damages caused during the cruise sessions and must compensate for any losses incurred to the property of others or the venue.
VENUE MANAGEMENT RULES:

No mechanical work to be done in pit lane (due to oil on the concrete being slippery for motorbikes)

Blown tyres on Burnout pad, must be changed on grass prior to returning to pit area.
BURNOUTS
Burnouts are limited to 90 seconds of Qualifying on Saturday/Night for The Top 20 BURNOUT TOP GUN ELITES who will compete in the Sunday Finals. There will also be awards for the Top V8 & R/U, as well as the Top 4/6 Cyl & R/U.
The BURNOUTS Qualifying Rules: When red flags and lights appear, competitors must stop their burnout.
Failure to cease the burnout, when instructed, may result in a lower judged score or disqualification from the event.
Skids or Burnouts in the pits or paddock will result in your entry being cancelled and will be escorted out by security

No Static burnouts
Vehicles on rims are not permitted to be driven around the venue or the track. Competitors will be liable for any damage.

TRACK CRUISING:
Passengers must always wear their wristbands, long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. Seat belts are mandatory for all passengers in the vehicle. All passengers must sign an indemnity agreement and wear a bracelet. Photographic identification may be requested. Passengers must be at least 16 years old, with a parent or legal guardian signing the indemnity form for those under the age of 18.
KIDS/FMILY CRUISE SESSIONS
There will be designated times for the Kids Cruise sessions, and drivers must cruise the circuit at an appropriate pace to ensure the safety of the children in the car. Children aged 2 to 15 years are permitted in these sessions
Children aged 2-4 years must use a child car seat. Children aged 4-7 years need to use a booster seat. No wrist bank is required.
NO DRIFTING, NO STATIC BURNOUTS, NO DONUTS. NO CUTTING IN AND OUT OF TRAFFIC & NO LOSS OF CONTROL.
If you break down, stay in the car, you will be assisted by our officials
If you have a blowout during the cruise session, please exit the bitumen immediately
Flags/ lights mean slow down, hazard ahead.
Red Flags/ lights mean the session is finished please leave the circuit.
If your car stops, stay in the car as officials will assist you. In the case of fire leave the car immediately!
Drivers will be tested every time they enter Track Activities as well as Random testing throughout the event.
Rear Brakes for Cruising, Super Skids & and NO-PREP Racing are a MUST!! (Permitted in Burnouts Only)
NO SLICKS for Track Cruising
Entrants will be accountable for any damages caused during the cruise sessions and must compensate for any losses incurred to the property of others or the venue.
NO-PREP RACING:
Held on the Circuit Track, 1/8 Mile Racing with no Lights, timing, or speed recording.
You will compete against the racer that comes up next to you and the first racer over the finish line will be the winner. This category will be for BRAGGING Rights with a Trophy for the Winners and Runner up "Tyre warming will not be permitted."
SUPER SKIDS
Super Skids combines horsepower and driver skill without using the brakes, the aim is to spin the tyres for as long as possible down the main straight. Brakes are only to be used to steady the car, and not to continue the skid. No passengers allowed. This category will be for BRAGGING Rights with a Trophy for the Winner and Runner Up
NO BURNOUTS NO DONUTS PERMITTED.
SHOW AND SHINE STATIC:
The Supernats Static Show & Shine will be held in a special area in the venue and there will be signs and officials to guide you through. Gates open on Sunday from 8.00 am for registrations and entry to the venue.
SHOW & GO:
Supernats Show & Go has always been a major category at Supernats. It is made of Show cars that have the Go as well as the Show. A Show and Go car must enter as many driving events as possible to accumulate points to be in the running for awards.
ENTRANTS CAMPING:
Supernats at Symmons Plains will be operating from Friday Night to Sunday and there will be camping available. Access to the venue will commence on Friday 2nd from 2.00 pm or Saturday from 8.00 am All participants must leave the venue by Sunday morning. If you have not purchased your camping accommodation, we can assist on the day of registration for an extra cost of $60 p/p for the entire stay. It is a set price and not sold daily rates.
PASSENGER RIDES
All passengers who want to get on track in the cruising or Burnout sessions MUST be at least 16 years of age and must have a Passenger Wristband and under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian to sign the indemnity. Passenger wristbands are available for an additional $35 per person this fee does not include spectator tickets. This can be pre-purchased online when entering or at the gates

Passenger riders MUST sign an indemnity form before receiving his/her wristband. We will only accept the legal parent to sign on behalf of the under-aged to be a passenger. Helmets and safety gear are not required to ride in a car during the cruise sessions, but it is compulsory during the Burnouts.

Passengers in the Burnouts Permits 1 Person only and Cruise Sessions 1 per Seat Belt.

There will be designated periods throughout the weekend for Family/Kids Cruise sessions, which will be free of charge and run at a slower pace.
ALCOHOL
Supernats has always been a NO-ALCOHOL event. We insist upon a 0.00 Blood Alcohol Limit for ALL drivers at All Times. You are not permitted to bring alcohol or drugs into the venue and there will be no sales of alcohol during the event. Security will be checking vehicles and roaming the venue all weekend!!! Failure to comply with the No-Alcohol policy and display any reading may result in dismissal from the event and will have their entry confiscated with No Refunds.
Supernats Promotions reserves the right to seize any alcohol found on the premises. It is a family fun event & and we will not tolerate any misbehaving.
FUEL
Please be aware the venue permits only 1 x 20-litre drums of fuel to be stored per garage. However, you can have more in your support/trailer vehicles as long as it is outside and not in garages. NO FUEL permitted if you will be sleeping in the garages.
Venue Management Rule: Methanol Re-Fuelling will not be in Garages anymore there will be an outdoor allocated area!
STRICTLY NO SMOKING IN GARAGES (any butts left behind participants will be charged for the extra cleaning costs)

/Ethanol or petrol-based fuels only permitted. Each vehicle equipped with Methanol has an approved sticker of red printed with a large “M” in white text
CLEANING:
All participants must clean up after themselves using the bins supplied. No tyres are to be left behind; our officials will be on the lookout for any rubbish that entrants leave behind, and they will be banned from future Supernats events.
Alloy wheels are NOT ALLOWED IN THE BURNOUT COMP but are permitted in other driving events.
All Panels must be fitted to the car during the complete event excluding burnouts unless proper pulley guards are correctly installed.
INSURANCE
Event insurance does not protect property; it only protects against personal injury. Whether the incident was purposeful or unintentional, the participant will be charged for any damages caused to the venue's property, and by submitting an online entry, you agree to accept full responsibility if you damage Venue property other than the Burnout Pad.
Any misbehaviour, inside or outside the venue, is not authorized and may result in eviction and entrance cancellation with no returns. The Event Management and Clerk of Course maintain the right to cancel any event participation.
TROPHIES
If you are not present during the presentation, you can have someone collect it on your behalf. You must organize the trophy collection as it will not be posted.
MEDIA
All photos and videos taken on the day by authorized media crew may be collected and used by SUPERNATS PROMOTIONS. All media must be sent to the organiser via email to supernats@optusnet.com or via WeTransfer within 48 hours of the event. Commercial use is not allowed without the Promoter's authorization. All viewers of the media must always remain in enclosed spaces; any media that does not comply with the rules will be banned from future Supernats Events.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Entrants who are unable to attend the event or need to withdraw may do so up to before the event but will
NOT BE REFUNDED. You may exchange or sell your entry by providing us with the entry details, which will entail a $50 administration fee.
Gold Pass holders, as well as those who rent a garage there will be NO REFUNDS (unless permitted by The Organisers) Tickets are not permissible to be transferred to another event in the future. You can sell it to another entrant, but you'll have to update the car's details, which will cost you an extra $50 in administration fees.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Due to insurance and safety regulations, certain track activities may be cancelled depending on the weather, but we make every effort to keep as many track events as possible going. We will inform every one of the new date if the forecast indicates that it is not appropriate to proceed. Every entry will be carried over.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The actions of each participant, both on and off the track, are entirely their responsibility.
Volunteers and staff accept no liability for any damage that may result from this process or after it. You understand the risks associated with Motorsport and the potential damage it may do to your entry car, bike, or truck by participating in the event. Number plates or vehicle descriptions will be recorded and reported for any inappropriate behaviour inside or outside the venue, and those found may have their license suspended. Respect everyone in the public, and the property of the venue, behave morally, and don't ruin it for anyone else.
SCRUITINEERING CHECK LIST
All drivers must submit their vehicle for a safety check before they enter the venue where they will be given their stickers.
